In this interview with Robin Shirley, Robin shares about the early childhood program she is starting called Compass Center Learning. She discusses what her motivation is for creating the program, including the great need for an educational program that focuses on comfort and prioritizes meeting the needs of children first. She discusses some of the issues with conventional schooling that ultimately results in our children disconnecting with themselves and their needs in ways that are harmful. Finally, she shares her vision for a different kind of educational system that seeks to benefit children by teaching practical applications for the core subject areas while maintaining family structures and a connection to the community.
